Is Australia Expensive?
Is Australia Expensive???????????????????
YES! Australia is very expensive, it is one of the most expensive places to live in the world.
We always shop around before we rush in to buy things (well mum does) Mum doesn't like getting ripped off, and always seeks value for money.
You have to know the best shops to go to for certain items, as each shops price can vary dramatically, we found for grocery shopping Woolworths, Aldis, and the local veggie shop works with us.
As for clothes, if you want something in comparison to Primark in the U.K (this was mine and Mums favorite) it would have to be Kmart, you do have Big W but even that is quite pricey.
Mum and Dad said that house prices here in Australia are also a lot more expensive, but the house and land are a lot larger, although we are out a lot of the time.
In Australia a lot of things we do are free, like beaches, skate parks, outdoor pools, museums, libraries and the list goes on.
I guess its as expensive as you make it, we rarely eat out and always make the most of the free events that happen locally.
